Are these activities safe for my kids?
Gymfinity's owner, J Orkowski, is the USA-Gymnastics Safety Educator for Wisconsin. That means he is responsible for training all of the coaches in Wisconsin (northern Illinois and Minnesota too) in safely teaching and coaching kids in gymnastics. You can bet that he runs a tight ship when it comes to his own program here at Gymfinity. There are strict standards to which all staff and programs must comply. Your kids are in good hands.
How can I be sure these teachers are qualified to work with my child?
A good question actually that doesn't get asked to kid's programs as much as it should. Gymfinity's staff is very trustworthy and professional. Gymfinity prides itself on providing a thoroughly trained staff that is qualified to work with your children. Staff training and education is not an option for our crew. Each instructor is required to earn educational credits each quarter to maintain their teaching status. But the training and qualifying starts way before that. Each applicant for a position is given a national background check before hiring. After hiring, training extends through the first year to guarantee that every teacher understands Gymfinity's progressive program and curriculum. All staff, including the owners, are evaluated annually to maintain a qualitythat exceeds the standard; that's what you deserve for your family.
How do we enroll?
There are 2 ways. First, try the online registration. Click on the "Classes"” link and follow the easy steps there. If the class time and day you are looking for does not appear on the list, it is full. Our registration is kept up to date by the second and full classes and will be removed from the roll the minute it fills. At the end of the process you will be given a Registration Receipt. Bring this in on your first day. The other way to register is to stop in and fill out the necessary forms. Our helpful and friendly office staff will guide you through finding and registering into the perfect class for your young athlete.
Could classes be cancelled for bad weather?
Sadly, yes. Gymfinity coincides with the Madison school systems. If they close, we will close. However, we will stay open if they only close for a partial day. And, of course, make up classes are allowed for any cancelled class.
How do we sign up for Birthday Parties?
Simply call the gym a few weeks prior to your selected date. We can talk you through the process over the phone. Remember you will need to pay a deposit to finalize the party so be sure to have a credit card ready (parties can be reserved without a credit card deposit but will only be held 24 hours). Once the party is reserved, we will prepare for you a packet with some simple information and all of your party invitations. Stop by anytime to pick up your packet. When do you have open playtimes?
Gymfinity prides itself on being an instructional program, therefore we have limited open play times and priority is given to offering our classes. Times are scheduled for different age groups to be sure that little ones aren't intimidated by big kids and the bigger kids are not stumbling over the babies. Numbers admitted are limited to again be sure there is room for the kids to play and play safely. Please also see Open Play tab under GymCRAZIum on the home page.
What is a PNO?
Parent's Night Out (PNO) is a time when you can leave the kids (potty trained and up) with us. We'll provide dinner, games and supervised play from 4:30pm to 9:30pm. Take in a movie, go out to dinner, you deserve a break. See PNO information under the GymCRAZIum tab on the home page.
When does the next session start?
Actually Gymfinity runs our programs on a month to month basis. We have found that families look for flexibility in their schedules. By going month to month we won't tie you up with long and restricting sessions and contracts. It also give us an opportunity to prove ourselves every 30 days, if you don't think we are doing what we promised, you can withdraw. We look forward to stepping up to and exceeding your expectations. Lastly, the month to month programs allows you to better budget for tuition without getting a "surprise" larger payment all at once. We actually surveyed our families to see if a monthly program was favored, we listened to you and we did what you asked. You're welcome.
Can we have a trial class?
In a word, yes. Gymfinity offers 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with our program. If you would like to try a class come in and fill out the required paperwork. Try the class, no obligation. If you like the class, register following the trial and pay for the month. If you don't like it, no hard feelings and no payment required.
Why does Gymfinity claim to be Madison's cleanest gym?
We hear from our families that have been to other area programs about how much better we are in terms of providing a clean and healthy atmosphere. That's not news to us (but we love the compliment). We spend a lot of time cleaning our gym and lobby. Mats and activity surfaces are sanitized each week. Floors are made safe for bare feet and the air is filtered and cleaned for healthy breathing. You won't find any dust bunnies lurking at our place. We take the health and comfort of our families pretty seriously. You would expect that from someone in our position, wouldn't you?
